Today is Friday, a day when Muslims went for their prayers, a day that marks Xi Ying's 15th birthday, and last but not least the last day of school. For some strange reasons I feel like summarising the whole of this year and how I have spent it. Since I have nothing better to do, let's start right right RIGHT from the beginning.
I remember when I first lined up for the very first time at the basketball court of our holding site in a class that contain at least 30 people I do not know. When I put down my bag, the white stuff that I suppose is paint had stuck onto my bag ever since. Sighing, I pick it up after Mr Tan has addressed us and stepped into 3L1.
At that point in time, I already spotted a few familiar faces: Yin Shuen, Shao Hua, Iqbal, Ahmad, Jauhari, Xi Ying and Nixon whom I have met in Primary School and in 103/203. I automatially sat down with Nixon and waited for days to pass. Sitting right behind us are Leon and ALoysius.
One week passed, I got to know Jia Qi, Leon, Aloysius, Janice, Wei Ling, Wei Siong and blah but not the whole of L1. They are mainly those that I have known their names in sec 2 but have perhaps never talked to them. As we proceed to having our lessons, Miss Ong our Lit teacher divided us into groups and I get to know Vanessa, our Lit rep and her best friend Nicole. As Nixon and I are still ungrouped, we approached Vanessa and joined a group which contains faces clearly from 206. They are Cordelia, Aisyah, Kiat Ni and Ying Hui. Time slowly passes as the class began to bond closer together.
Then it was Valentine's Day. During that time, the silly rumours of Shao Hua and Yin Shuen exist, and everybody is busy making fun of them. My seat have been changed to right in front, with Wei Siong, Geelyn and Sarah. Little did Benedict and Yin Shuen know that something is going to happen during this period of time. By then I have already known the whole of L1, but then nothing interesting is happening as the class is still not familiar with one another. But the case when Wei Ling's hand phone is stolen and Iqbal, Aisyah, Shao Hua and I eating in class will never be forgotten by any L1s.
All of a sudden, the June holidays have passed. This is when things start to get more and more interesting. 3L1 have completely transformed into a place of fun, warmth, and possibly - chaos. Examples:
1) Our beloved class-chairman, James the Forgotten giving us instructions.
2) Iqbal, Jauhari, Nicole, Vanessa and Wei Siong 'grabbing' things from the Chem lab.
3) Our class containing more and more laughter.
It was 3L1, 3T1, 3T2, 3M1's turn to attend the dance course during YMP. Fan Wei and I were picked by our dance instructor to dance in front of the audience during our very first session. How honoured is that! Thinking back, I actually danced three items!
1) The first ever dance session
2) The Way I Are
3) The last dance session that involves the 3 beat
September can be described as my top favourite month in the year. I have made alot of new friends in Malaysia and have been doing well in school. One event that took me by storm is the Teacher's Day celebration. For reasons that even I don't understand, I volunteered to dance solo the 'Crazy Indian Music Video' for Mrs Wong. Ok I may be a bit racist, but then I just danced that to make Teacher's Day more memorable for Mrs Wong. Haha I am sniggering as I typed this. Just what the hell makes me want to dance that in the first place anyway?
Finally, the End-of-Year Examinations. I would say that this year has been truly 'wasted' by me. I was slacking the whole year and didn't study hard enough for the most important exams of the year. My overall marks was only 54.4 and my level position is 200+!!! That is really a very disppointing result I am getting. My parents were so upset that they forced me not to use the computer as I have used it for the past few months: Playing and chatting and neglecting studies. Now that the Sec 3 Forward Track Program is next, should I take this time to really clear my doubts of my studies, or should I simply continue the way I am right now? 54.4% overall is definitely not a result that I am satisfied with! I must work harder in order to get into AT LEAST POLY!!!
Well I am offing my computer soon but then I still have alot in my mind to share with you guys right now. Maybe tomorrow or the days after I will update THIS particular post with whatever new things I have thought of. GTG!
