Black, White and a tinge of Grey - Unexplained Point of Relaxation
|
Wow March 31 is the last date that I have touched this blog! Well my mum confiscated my cable again all the way until the end of common test 2. It certainly helped me, or I would have wasted my time off playing o2jam.
Haha so common test 2 is finally finally over. Hey people share with you all something fast and meaningful. Have you ever thought of your future before? I mean, where do you want to go or what do you plan to do after secondary school life. A typical secondary 4 student who spends his day playing his computer or simply socialising with friends. When exams arrive he did some last minute study, and fails terribly for each of them. He has totally no idea of the time and O levels are already nearing, ready to crush him like an ant beneath a rocket ship. Another student, he plans ahead. He could be once a very playful and complacent boy, but has since 'woke up' and study, not just blindly but organised and smart. He achieved a L1R5 of 9 and went to a good JC. I mean, even I am the only person who play o2jam in the whole BPGHS, I sadly belong to one of those that are complacent in studies. I seriously do not push myself and one example would be Geog, which is full of total nonsense that you have to memorise and write down on blue foolscap paper during O levels. Work hard now, suffer for another 5 months, or rather enjoy since you study smart, and relax for 4 months IN A ROW!!! Got back some of my common test papers: Social Studies : 21 / 25 Literature: 14/25 Combined Grade A2 Chemistry: 31 / 40 A1 English: 16 / 30 (BADLY BADLY done) C6 Chinese: Emaths: 37 / 40 A1 Amaths: 32 / 40 A1 Biology: 30 / 40 A1 Geography: 8 / 25 F9... CME: 28 / 30 For the first time in my entire life in sec 3 and 4 I got A1 for SEQ! OMG take that Miss Rashidah! . . . On a day before SS common test Miss Rashidah: Here are the notes for chapter 2, the strategies in which Singapore used to overcome challenges in a globalising world as well as its impacts. And please for goodness sake this is a gifted question, STUDY! If you get anything less than L3, you are PLAIN LAZY. And some of my Geog students, PEOPLE LIKE NIXON, PEOPLE LIKE ANSELM, YOU ARE SO WEAK IN GRASPING THE CONTEXTUAL KNOWLEDGE. You BETTER study. . . . Nixon and I sat there, determined to prove this woman wrong. Miss Rashidah is seriously a nice teacher, just very fierce and tend to use overly powerful words to emphasise our weakness in SS and Geog. I don't really dislike her, for she's the one that make me shoot up in standard for SEQ!!! But, a reality check: O levels will not provide you the topics to study... You have to have knowledge on all the wretched words in the textbook of both Sec 3 and 4!!! Ok having said so much in one breath, I got to go, hopefully I can organise my time well until after the O levels. This is the last stretch!! After this you can concentrate on all new things with more advanced approach and thinking! Come on pull on your socks! Anselm!! And your shoes when you go to school. I posted at 9:19 PM |
