Hello, I am back... (monotonous)


Sigh today is thursday, I need to report to school at around 8am for the band promotion ceremony. It is lame, not all sec 4s turn up anyway. You are basically sitting on a hard plastic chair rotting away for 1 and a half hour. When I turned to go home after the ceremony, it started to rain heavily, delaying my go-home-time for more than half an hour. I came home at about 12 and basically stoned until 2. Finally decided to do a bit of blogging.



Ignorance is bliss...




Today I am going to talk about another couple, namely Couple 2. This time, I am going to introduce the two characters directly involved.



Male character: Brandon
Age: 16
Hobbies: Swimming, Gaming
Appearance: Untidy hair, Bright eyes, bespectacled, tall at around 178, good-looking
Love history: None


Female character: Beverly
Age: 15
Hobbies: Chatting on the telephone, Shopping
Appearance: Ravishing, long hair, 160, perfect body
Love history: 3 ex



Ok here's something. Leon and I came up with a couple the other time. I ADMIT that I was abit lazy to continue that story. =) So I am just going to make up another couple and call it Couple 2 all the same. Ok hope you will enjoy it. It is sometimes narrative and sometimes freestyle so bear with it.

Brandon is a normal schooling boy in Cataclysmic Secondary School. This was what happened when he was in Secondary two. During that time, he was a boy that is hard to please, causing him to develop problems in his attitude. For instance, his parents were barking rich and he is able to get what he wanted. He did considerably well in his EOY exams and he was rewarded with a PSP and $500. He was not really loved by his parents alot as they were all busy working, as the only child, the lack of attention soon got over him.



He began to play truant and steal from departmental stores. He succeeded in stealing all of the insignificant things such as Mentos the Freshmaker, and deep down he felt satisfied of what he is doing. Little did he know that one day while he is attempting to snatch a whole box of Ferrero Rocher and stuff it into his bag, he was caught on CCTV. He was let off by the police whom the shop owner alerted but referred to his school for disciplinary action. His parents were disappointed in him. However, this changed Brandon's life completely. He repented his ways and start his life afresh as one of the best Sec 3 students of all. Things around him started to affect him in various ways.




In Cataclysmic Secondary School, the Sec 2s and 3s had their recesses first, followed by the Sec 1s and 4s. Although Brandon had changed from a problematic child into a arguably model student, time is still the key to acceptance. Nevertheless he is used to sitting alone while eating during recess. He started to notice a group of girls that sit together everytime, in fact, one particular girl. No words in Brandon's opinion can describe just how good, or even perfect the girl is. Her hair is tied into a cute ponytail, she has perfect complexion and blinks thoughtfully at all her friends' chats. That girl who is in Sec 2 that year is Beverly. Her beauty had managed to attract a few boys when she was in Sec 1. She had gone through a few hasty relationships which didnt last long. Recently, she had broken up with another guy who claimed that "a girl like you is impossible to find", followed by a repetition of the verse. Nevertheless, Beverly is single.



Brandon is determined to grab Beverly's heart as he continued to notice her. He is often bullied by his friends. As he is willing to change for good, his friends took him for granted and wanted to test his tolerance by calling him names and etc. Of course, Beverly is the most noticed girl in the entire school and even Brandon must admit that she has rejected a lot of boys in Sec 3 ever since her latest break.



"Dinner is ready, Brandon!" Brandon, poring over this prickly matter, awoke from his stupor. He blamed himself for sinking into thought of 'her' again. One moment he was thinking that studies is still the priority, the other he was thinking of the idea of having a relationship with Beverly, how nice it would be and maybe he could help her out in her studies and so on. He stood up, his mind is now set on capturing her heart.



The real problem with Brandon is that he has no close friends, neither is he willing to communicate with his parents. He started to visit websites such as "The Modern Man" as well as "3 steps to get what you really want." The thing about these websites is that the examples given were totally based on luck and coincidence, but Brandon neither knew nor cared. He can't wait for the weekend to end so that he could put his plan into action.



Armed with his so-called knowledge, Brandon suddenly realised the difficulty of immediately going into a relationship with Beverly. Firstly, they do not know each other in the first place. Secondly, if Brandon were to try and get her attention on purpose, it would be a signal that he is trying to get close to Beverly. Lastly, he was in a different class, not to mention a different level from her. Following the "Golden Website"'s advice, he first added Beverly's friendster and msn, after much effort in searching for it.



Beverly responded almost instantly on Friendster by commenting on his profile.


Hello! I know you from school! Your profile is so plain uhhs



Excited, Brandon proceeded on with his plan and in just a week's time they are online friends.



Right now in school, whenever Brandon sees Beverly with her group of friends, he would try to look in the other direction, to look as if he is much 'cooler'. He does not realise that the girls do not even pay the slightest attention that he just walked past. Also, Brandon is always praying that Beverly is alone, and since they sort of know each other they can really engage in a nice chat as well.



I have to socialize. I have to! Or else nothing would happen... Brandon thought to himself one recess as he is eating his chicken rice alone. All of a sudden, 3 plates settled down in front of him. He looked up, it was Beverly and two of her friends whose names are Dorsaline and Gasoline, from what Brandon can see on their name tags.



"Excuse me, but could we sit down?" Gasoline asked with a crooked facial expression.


"Sure!" Brandon replied. He continued with his chicken rice, and he swore that Beverly looked at him just now. As he continue with his meal, his heart is thumping fast. Dorsaline is communicating animatedly with Beverly, how can he start out a conversation with her when he do not even know the 3 of them well in the first place?
