I got into St. Andrew's Junior College, another big step ahead in life.



I woke to a start when my sms ringtone rang out at 6:14am. I reached out to my handphone lying about two feet away from my face and looked directly into the 3 letters - MOE. I pressed the message and immediately saw the school in my first choice. My first thought then was "Hmm, nice...", and went back to sleep.


A few hours later, I received a message from Leon: He is going to Catholic Junior College.

At first I thought he was joking, but from his tone from the sms and the seriousness I finally believed that he IS going to CJC.


It turns out that alot of disappointments came from St. Andrews and National. Alot of 9-pointers could not get into St. Andrews for their first choice, and similarly alot of 5-pointers are unable to get into National for their first choice.


Our 3 male scholars in 4L1 - Wee Kiat, Jia Qi and Eugene Chew all got 5 points after deductions from their CCA bonus points. They all put National as their first choice and Anderson in their 2nd choice. It turns out that ALL THREE OF THEM got into Anderson... According to Eugene, Chze Kian and Woon Yeow experienced the exact same thing, only that Chze Kian went to Anglo-Chinese, which is his 3rd choice.



Ok then, I definitely must work hard in St. Andrews. JC life apparently is no joke, this is definitely 2 years that you don't want to waste...




Not looking forward to Monday, I have to wake up at 5:30am in the morning!!! ><
