The results are out: I got posted into 4H2 BCME, class 09S20.


Subjects combination ONCE AGAIN:


H2 Mathematics
H2 Chemistry
H2 Biology
H2 Economics
H1 General Paper
H1 Project Work
H1 Mother Tongue Language


Today marks the official start of JC life. In my opinion, I find that the lectures are more or less the same as normal lessons in secondary school. It's just that we only know of our classes today, or else the entire JC1 cohort wouldn't have to squeeze into the Cultural Centre for the lecture.(There are 4 Lecture Theatres I think)


As our Economics lecturer has said, Economics is an entirely new subject to me. The introduction today itself has already intimidated me as I realised I need to be able to think and write essays fast. Our first Chemistry lecture is tomorrow, and I do hope that I can catch up on all the Mole questions, despite the fact that I have not done any Chemistry calculations and stuff for 4 entire months.



I also realised that in order to do well for my 4H2 subjects,(BCME) I basically have to listen attentively during lectures. Before that, I must read up on my notes first,(especially Economics) and approach my tutor armed with questions to clear my doubts during tutorials. Well I hope I can do that, my only worry now is the ability to catch up in H2 Chemistry.



As for Maths, we are basically revising our favourite Amaths topic of Indices, Surds and Logarithms. (EASY!! :P)



Wednesday will be our CCA sign-up day after all the important lectures from 3pm. Now here's the question - Band? Or Strategy Club? LOL! Go BCME!
