Met up with some L1s just now to have dinner at some place called Sumo whatever(house?). Haix, can't they just have it at Lot 1? I suddenly just feel like reflecting on my life now.
I can finally tell that JC life has indeed affected me in a lot of ways. Firstly, the 'kampong' Bukit Panjang Government High life when I was Sec 3 & 4 was basically much much better than the environment of SAJC. I mean, in SAJC, you can see benches and chairs everywhere on EVERY FLOOR! They are obviously designed for you to study and study and study. Whereas looking back at that kampong campus, these kind of facilities can never be found, not counting that moth-eaten one just outside the so-called band room.
I'm just so used to be greeted by a more green, less "Let's sit down and study!" scene back in Sec 4 that I am not sure whether I can call SAJC a 'home' yet. Right now I just want to concentrate in managing my 4H2s well and buck up on that stupid GP!
Also, I noticed that in Sec 4, I used to joke around more frequently, but in JC I just can't get used to the people around me. The way they react to my 'lame jokes' are either a blank face or a raised eyebrow... Haix... Never mind, studies are more important.
Another irritating thing is that I'm still blogging like a secondary school student... Professional JC student bloggers are already using bombastic words, lol.
Well, this is life!
Reflection on my subjects:
H2
Biology: Just revise and revise and revise and do tutorials!
Chemistry: Just revise through and make sure you can do and UNDERSTAND the tutorials.
Maths: If you get anything less than an A, you can go F**K yourself!
Econs: Haix, content heavy, common sense made hard, you can do it!
H1
General Paper: I will really try harder next time...(Getting like Ds and Es)
Project Work: Hope for the best
Chinese: ...
That's all man, It's only Monday and I'm already anticipating the next weekend. I wish the SYF people good luck and may the best win!
