Long time no post!

Let me post about what happened today so far: I survived through the midnight today, doing nothing but reading Harry Potter and playing Typing Maniac on Facebook - I regret it totally. As I am typing this post, my mind is forcing me to off the laptop, rest your head on your beloved bolster, and bloody get to sleep! You have tuition later!


Ok so this morning, WeeKiat, Leon, Wayne and I arranged for a Left 4 Dead session at the Lan near 10 Mile Junction at around 9am. When we got there, there was already alot of people playing games like Maple Story, Audition, DotA and Battleon(Yes, I repeat - BATTLEON). I have to wait for 1 hour and 15 minutes before I can actually get a computer and play.


My opinions of the Left 4 Dead - It is an utterly bad game. Sorry Left 4 Dead fans, but I just don't get the appeal of playing Left 4 Dead, as I only played it for the first time, shall not rant too much about it, CounterStrike is still way better...


It is currently 25th of June. On the 29th of June I will be sitting for Biology and Economics, 30th June Chemistry and 2nd July Mathematics 4H2 Common Test. As you have guessed, I shall take this "free time" to talk about my revision so far and my plans for the following 3 days of holidays left, in order of the Common Test.



H2 Biology:


Well I studied Biological Molecules hastily. I can manage to recollect some DNA replication stuff but only vaguely. Haven't revised through Cell Structures, Mitosis & Meiosis and Enzymes yet, which I deem the easy but tedious chapters to cram into your head. Judging of my current situation, I guess that DNA replication, Transcription & Translation needs to be read through AGAIN, I just hope that the chapter that I studied the hardest for come up for the Essay Question. =D


H2 Economics:


By far my most dreaded Common Test Paper. The only chapter that I've not touched is Market Structure(Perfect Competition, productive efficiency and so on), and it seems that I need at least 2 hours for that. My essay and case study writing skills is, to say the very least, rubbish. I have not practiced at all this holidays on the revision package and that is really worrying. The various cost advantages and disadvantages when a firm expands, demand and supply factors of why a firm would want to remain small, and finally my first lecture booklet all need to be read through once again...


I hope Econs tuition later on in the evening will help me get through the Economies of Scale efficiently...


I think that Economics is simply common sense made hard. When one read widely enough, one can be able to think of all those revenue advantages, cost advantages that a firm can gain by just brainstorming and analysing the situation. As for me, I need to read the suggested answer first, get a hold of what I am expected to write, and start practising from there, all for the sake of my 'A' Levels. Yeah, it's quite pathetic for me...


H2 Chemistry:


I am just too lazy to go through every single one of the tutorials I have done. I am just going to do my revision package after revising the important topics(Atomic Structure, Chemical Bonding and Chemical Energetics), and hopefully I am able to finish them without problems and fast. Then again, I'm quite weak in Chemistry...



H2 Mathematics:


I realise that there is quite a number of Summation Qns that are really tough and challenging. The good thing about Maths is I can understand immediately by looking at the answer scheme, but currently I still need to revise back my Functions and Graphing Techniques, Functions being the worst as I have no idea about it currently. Luckily I have a break during Wednesday(1st July 2009) that I can settle this. I will probably do the understanding of Functions and Graphing Techniques before school reopens, and practice questions from every single topic during Wednesday.



Hopefully by taking the trouble to type all this out, I will complete everything I've set by myself before the actual Common Test commences. Good luck!















For those of you that are worried about your Project Work, no worries. My project work leader has not come back, or has just recently arrived back in Singapore. Hence my group has done NOTHING related to Project Work this June Holidays!!! GG for us? I just want at least a B for Project Work, that's all...
